BALISAILLE announces the launch of the 4th Edition of the International Prize for Poetic Invention. Awarded on manuscript, the Prize aims to reward poeric texts
distinguished by their originality in two categories : Creole language (s) and French language. The candidate will send his unpublished collection in PDF format
by email (pipoetique@gmail.com) and not subject to any publishing contract. The text must be anonymous and contain no images. A minimum of 15.000
characters (space not included) is required. The winning works will be published, disseminated and distributed by Caraibéditions within their collection "Poés'iles".
A publishing contract beetween award-winning authors and Caraibéditions will be signed before publication. Please note that the published text, may, with the prior
agreement of the author, have been modified following the wise advice of the members of the jury. The jury may decide not to award a prize if no entry seems worthy.
Conversely, il will reserve the right to distinguish other texts which may be the subject of special promotion and which possibly be published by Caraibéditions.
CALENDER :
April 6, 2025 : closing date for sending texts.
May 10, 2025 : proclamation of the winners as part of the official closing ceremony of the May Poetry Festival 2025__'Populating the Revolt" (Simone Yoyotte)__wich
will be held from may 1 to 10 in Martinique.
